By manually rotating the two wooden cranks, the audience sets the kinetic sculpture in motion, where the hazelnuts embark on predetermined voyages, creating satisfying sounds as they drop to the bottom and return into the mechanism. Symbolising sowing, labour, and reflecting our connection to the natural world.
